FULL DESCRIPTION OF TRAINING CONTENTS IN THE LANGUAGE OF THE TRAINING: (EN)
Preparation: participants reflect on their previous experiences with school projects and identify key questions and challenges from their professional practice, particularly regarding international cooperation, intercultural communication, and sustainable project impact. These topics are addressed at the beginning of the seminar and integrated into the learning process. In preparation, participants receive selected reading recommendations as well as information and working materials on European school projects, project management, intercultural communication, and sustainable project development.
Objectives: the course “Intercultural European School Projects: From Planning to Sustainable Impact” strengthens participants’ skills in planning, implementing, managing, and sustainably embedding European school projects. The focus is on combining project management with intercultural cooperation, researching and making use of European funding opportunities, finding partners, and developing and implementing shared project goals and activities.
Further key topics include intercultural communication, the allocation of roles and responsibilities, financial and progress management, evaluation and quality assurance, the dissemination of project results, and dealing with challenges and conflicts in international teams. Particular emphasis is placed on achieving sustainable impact and integrating project results into everyday school life, school development, and long-term European partnerships.
Methodology: the six-day course comprises 35 hours of face-to-face instruction and combines theoretical foundations with practical exercises and application-oriented learning activities. The content is directly linked to the participants’ professional experience and specific project ideas. An intercultural perspective is integrated throughout the course.
The methods used include plenary sessions, discussions, reflection exercises, pair and small-group work, workshops, case studies, practical project-planning tasks, role-plays, peer learning, the exchange of experiences, and digital tools. This methodological approach supports the immediate transfer of learning to everyday school practice and to future European projects.
Follow-up: after the course, participants can share their experiences, project ideas, and results on the online platform “Task Cards” and continue exchanging ideas with other participants and European colleagues. The platform supports the transfer of learning into school practice, the further development of European school projects, and the establishment of long-term partnerships.
The international team of trainers will also remain available after the course for professional exchange, questions, and support in developing and implementing intercultural European school projects.
